MAGENU, a local non-profit organization in New York, announces its annual Safety Day fair.
On Sunday, June 2nd, 2013, the annual Safety Day fair by Magenu will take place in Marine Park, Brooklyn NY. The event will feature extra-large vehicles brought by the NYPD, Hatzalah EMS, FDNY, Office of Emergency Management (OEM), Shomrim Safety Patrol, and the NY State Police. Additionally, these public service officers will be educating and distributing safety literature to all children and attendees.
Dozens of Fun of Rides, Carnival Games, Live Performances, headline by 8th Day, Food, Raffles, and prizes will be there to create a fun safe, and educational atmosphere.
Having educated thousands of children in our local school system, their parents, teachers, and administration Magenu is successfully implementing numerous educational programs on an array of children’s safety topics, which empower them to keep our children shielded from the dangers that lurk in today’s society. This event will continue to educate, bring awareness, and educate about summer safety as the new season begins.
With dozens of schools requested to join, children, parents, politicians, and safety personnel are confirmed to come out and attend this Safety Day event.
